The Inoyo Toro Foundation is a foundation dedicated to positively impacting on the education sector in Akwa Ibom State. The 6th
edition of the Annual Awards for Teaching Excellence in Public
Secondary
Schools in Akwa Ibom State took place on the 8th November, 2013 at the
Le Meridian Hotel, Uyo. The FRSC Corps Marshal and Chief Executive, Ositadinma Benjamin Chidoka was the guest speaker at the prestigious event. Also present at the event was the Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Honorable Sam Ikon.
The Foundation celebrates public secondary school teachers who have excelled in the teaching
of Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and recently added, History and Economics, as part of her
effort to support educational development in the state.
